In this volume, the members of an international research group present the first results of their work on a new „Indo-European Sytanx“. Furthermore, the volume contains contributions from other authors, who made valuable suggestions to the group.
Den Anlass für diesen Sammelband bildete das Forschungsprojekt „Indogermanische Syntax“, das gegenwärtig von einer Forschergruppe unter Leitung von José Luis García Ramón, Oswald Panagl und Heinrich Hettrich bearbeitet wird. Die Arbeit der Gruppe soll in eine mehrbändige „Indogermanische Syntax“ münden, die einen Teil der „Indogermanischen Grammatik“ (Hrsg.: Alfred Bammesberger, Manfred Mayrhofer) bilden wird.
Mit diesem Band werden nun erstmals einige repräsentative Zwischenergebnisse der Forscher dem Urteil der Fachwelt vorgestellt.
